7th Question What is the most touching or impressive book or movie you've ever read or seen?

Please recommend books or movies you like.
I like to read books. But I've found that I always choose the same kinds of books, such as history novels, travel books or best sellers. I want to read various kinds of books. It's ok whether they are written in English or Korean.

Sharon, sorry about your topic. As you know me, your topic is not easy at all for me. However, i'm trying leaving my comment. Actually, i am not a good reader, and i don't remember what i read or watched. i'm not that bad when it comes to books or movies. it may sound very very strange, but after reading or watching i easily forget things i've done, why? i don't know. I know this is not an answer for your topic. Sorry

Hello, Sharon!
It is very impressive for you to read a lot of books here. I didn't read any book here. I am amazing how you can find time to read books. Before joining this program, I read just one book "Don't eat the mashmellow...yet!". Even though its story was not that brandnew, it touched me, made me more calm, and had me make steady efforts.

Hi, happy princess!
I like novels written by Kim Hyeong-gyeong. Several years ago, I read one book. The title is " A special criterion to choose love"
It deals with psychological state of human being. Of course, it is kind of a love story. However, she focuses mor on the inward state of human being.

Hi Sharon,
I don't think that it's too important to read a variety of books if you enjoy one or two particular kinds. I love sci-fi books so I'm motivated to read them the most. Perhaps if you want to increase your exposure to new books, you should try to read the book review section in the newspaper.

Hi, Sharon!!!!!

This is McLuhan.

The English patient is my favorite movie.

This is one of the most romantic films ever made and is filled with the joy and anguish of love and war. It shows that while war may create logistical lines that can not be crossed, the heart has no boundaries. Anyone who has ever experienced a love of such emotional intensity and physical longing became one who will understand the love affair of Katherine and Almasy.

Also, there was a very famous story line in the movie;" I promise I'll come back. I promise I'll never leave you."

You can enjoy a short video clip on the English Pateint. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oAWJjfN_ARE
